making space in an always-on world.

Homescreen Zero is a website all about living an inspired, fulfilled and accomplished life in our digitally disordered world.

My name’s Jack. I’m a reformed internet junkie. I used to be completely hooked on Twitter, emails, the 24/7 news cycle, all that stuff. I’d look at my phone first thing in the morning, and last thing at night.

But over the last four years, I’ve made it a priority to create a better, healthier, more positive reality. And I found that creating healthier digital habits was absolutely critical.

But changing your digital habits is easier said than done. These days, we live and breathe online. What you look at and do online matter. Digital content rewires the neurons in your brain. It tweaks your reward system and affects your ability to concentrate and stay motivated. It offers a seductive, risk-free reality to slip into when the real one isn’t meeting expectations.

That’s why I created Homescreen Zero. For everyone, like me, who is seeking a healthier relationship with the digital world. One that constructively adds to our lives instead of diminishing them.
